The Office of the United States Trade Representative is an agency of more than 200 specialists with experience in trade issues and regions of the world.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The USTR was established in 1962 and has offices in Washington, Geneva and Brussels.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Its work includes:&lt;br /&gt;
*Negotiating directly with governments to create trade agreements&lt;br /&gt;
*Resolving trade disputes&lt;br /&gt;
*Participating in global trade policy organisations. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The USTR also meets with governments, business groups, legislators and public interest groups to gather input on trade issues and to discuss trade policy.&lt;br /&gt;
