The Office of the United States Trade Representative is an agency of more than 200 specialists with experience in trade issues and regions of the world.<br />

The USTR was established in 1962 and has offices in Washington, Geneva and Brussels.<br />

Its work includes:<br />
*Negotiating directly with governments to create trade agreements<br />
*Resolving trade disputes<br />
*Participating in global trade policy organisations. <br />

The USTR also meets with governments, business groups, legislators and public interest groups to gather input on trade issues and to discuss trade policy.<br />
