Euro zone

The collective name for the 19 countries adopting European Monetary Union (EMU) in full. Sometimes written 'Euro zone', 'Eurozone', 'eurozone' or 'Euro-zone'.

More formally known as the 'euro area' and more informally as 'euroland'.
