Asperger's syndrome, or Asperger syndrome, is generally considered to be part of the autism spectrum.
People with Asperger's syndrome do not normally have general learning disabilities, though they may have specific learning difficulties.
They do not normally have problems with speech, but may have difficulties with understanding and processing language.
People with Asperger's syndrome often have difficulty recognising others’ feelings and intentions - and expressing their own emotions.
