Most commonly, the formation of a company.
More broadly, the formation of any entity that has a separate legal personality from its members, for example, a limited liability partnership.
Most companies are incorporated by registration at the companies registry, for example Companies House.

The transfer of an existing (unincorporated) business into a company structure.

Taking anything into something larger.
